IV Provincial Scientific Health Conferences of Cabo Delgado
medicusmundi, on behalf of the Alliance for Health, shares knowledge generated from its health interventions and actions with academic, governmental, and civil society institutions, within the framework of the IV Provincial Scientific Health Conferences of Cabo Delgado, with the support of Spanish Cooperation.
On September 29th and 30th, 2026, medicusmundi, one of our founding members, participated in the IV Provincial Scientific Health Conferences of Cabo Delgado, held in the city of Pemba, at the Iris University Campus, under the theme "Creating evidence to adapt, respond and rebuild the Cabo Delgado health system". The workshops, jointly organized by the Cabo Delgado Provincial Health Directorate and Service (DPS/SPS) and the Pemba Operational Research Centre (NIOP), provided a space for sharing knowledge, experiences, and scientific evidence, bringing together civil society organizations, university and academic institutions, including the Pemba Institute of Health Sciences, as well as national and international cooperation organizations and other health sector actors in the province.
